- 5 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2-1/2 tablespoons yeast

- 2 cups white flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons brown rice syrup (optional, helps shine up the bagels)
