Ingredients:
  • 250g/lb gram flour ( chickpea flour
  • 50g/2oz self-raising flour
  • tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp tandoori masala powder (optional), available from specialist Asian supermarkets
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 300g/10oz potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 300g/10oz onions
  • 3 spring onions
  • 6-8 spinach
  • handful fresh coriander
  • 1 tsp chopped green chilli
  • 1 tsp salt
  • , for deep frying sunflower oil
