  • 1 cup pitted dried plums (prunes)
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 1 cup toasted blanched almonds
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp butter, at room temperature
  • Grated zest of ½ orange
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 9 inch (23cm) tart pan with a removable bottom
