  • 1 cup (250 ml) raw peanuts (about 5 ounces/140 g shelled weight)
  • 9 ounces (250 g) tomate verde, roughly chopped (about 2 cups/500 ml)
  • 1 small bunch cilantro
  • 6 peppercorns, crushed
  • 3 to 4 serrano chiles, or any fresh, hot green chile, roughly chopped, with seeds
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup (125 ml) thinly sliced white onion
