  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley
  • Crumbled crisp bacon and chopped fresh Italian parsley, or whole walnut meats and chopped parsley (garnish)
