- 16 ounces macaroni whole wheat or regular
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cups reduced-sodium chicken or vegetable broth (or one 14.5 oz. can plus 1 1/2 oz. of water)
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder (such as Colemans)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 Tbsp. bread crumbs or panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
- 1 2 tsp. olive oil
