  • 1 medium onion, peeled and quartered 
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled 
  • 1 green pepper, trimmed and quartered 
  • 6 plum tomatoes, quartered 
  • 1 cup (250 mL) boiling chicken stock 
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice 
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) sweet paprika 
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) dried oregano 
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) granulated sugar 
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) salt 
  • ¼ tsp (1 mL) freshly ground black pepper
  • Few sprigs fresh parsley, chopped
