- 50g butter , plus extra for greasing
- 140g shortbread biscuits
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 350g cherries , 200g of them stoned
- 225g caster sugar
- 500g medium-fat soft cheese
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- zest 1 orange
- 200ml tub crme frache
- icing sugar , for dusting
