  • 3 carrots, unpeeled and cut into large pieces
  • 3 parsnips, unpeeled and cut into large pieces
  • 1 kohlrabi, quartered
  • 1 celery root, unpeeled and cut into large pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ bunch fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 leeks, rinsed clean and cut into large pieces
